Quote requests: your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, travel dates, and route details — submitted through our quote form or via WhatsApp chat.
Email correspondence: any details you include when emailing us.

We also collect limited data automatically when you visit our website:

Analytics: pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country/city level), device type — collected via Google Analytics. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Currency preference: stored in your browser's local storage to remember whether you prefer NPR or USD pricing. This data never leaves your device.

3. How we use your information

To respond to your quote request and confirm bookings
To contact you about your trip (pickup details, driver information, changes)
To improve our website and services using aggregated analytics data

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with the following service providers:

Resend (resend.com) — our email delivery provider, used to send internal booking notifications. Your details are transmitted securely and not stored by Resend beyond delivery.
Google Analytics — anonymised usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
WhatsApp / Meta — if you contact us via WhatsApp, Meta's privacy policy applies to that communication.

5. Data retention

We retain booking and contact information for as long as needed to fulfil your rental and for a reasonable period afterwards (up to 2 years) for record-keeping. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings (up to 14 months).

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing autararental@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies and local storage

Our website uses no tracking cookies. Currency preference is stored in browser local storage only and is not sent to our servers. Google Analytics may set cookies — you can block these via your browser settings or a browser extension.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
